Šešelj Promises Hungary Access to the Sea
The Croats have formed an alliance with the Albanians, the Kosovar ‘skipetars’ (Kosovar Albanians) – creating an openly anti-Serbian coalition. We, on the other hand, are forming a defense alliance with our brotherly Hungary. It is time to give Hungary back its access to the Adriatic – said Chetnik leader Vojislav Šešelj, who is gaining increasing presence in Serbian pro-government media

Vojislav Šešelj, the Serbian nationalist politician convicted as a war criminal, was once again a guest last night on Informer TV, which is close to the Serbian regime, where he delivered another speech laced with warlike rhetoric.

Šešelj Wants to Give Hungary the Sea
The Chetnik leader would redraw the Balkans – now including Hungary in the process.
– The Croats have formed an alliance with the Albanians, the Kosovar ‘Skipetars’ (Kosovar Albanians) – creating an openly anti-Serbian coalition. We, on the other hand, are forming a defense alliance with our brotherly Hungary. It is time to give Hungary back its access to the Adriatic
– declared Šešelj on the Serbian president’s favorite television channel.
Serbian nationalism is growing increasingly intense, led by the main radical figure who also faced trial in The Hague
The politician convicted by the Hague Tribunal added that Fiume (Rijeka) is a Hungarian port and never belonged to the Croatian banovina.
– The city was built by Hungarians. Above the corridor connecting Hungary to the sea lies the „kaj” dialect-speaking Croatian region – that should be returned to Slovenia. This is what Melania Trump deserves as well. Everything else is part of Greater Serbia
– said Šešelj, whose statements were met with applause and laughter from those present in the studio.
“Reunifying” Serbian Territories
While “reorganizing” the Balkans, the Chetnik leader further stated that “what remains will be Greater Serbia.”
He also suggested that once the Serbs secure a wide sea corridor for the Hungarians, “they will assert their interests, and the Serbian territories will be reunited.”
– If the Muslims don’t want to come with us, we’ll leave them their own Jamaahiriya.
Šešelj also commented on Catholic Serbs – clearly referring to Croats:
– We will awaken the Catholic Serbs one way or another and reclaim everything that is Serbian.
He added that Serbia, too, must reach the sea, asserting that “the international situation is becoming increasingly favorable for the Serbs.”
Šešelj’s rhetoric has not gone unanswered: over the weekend, students staged a blockade outside the Informer editorial office under the name “Dezinformer.”
The protesters were guarded by a heavy police presence and separated from the building’s entrance by protective barriers.
Several participants, wearing protective gear, carried out symbolic “rodent extermination” in front of the editorial office, protesting against what they described as toxic and manipulative journalism by Informer, the broadcaster close to Aleksandar Vučić.
Šešelj, however, is not limited to Informer – he appears daily on four national television channels, especially on Pink TV and Happy Studio – where he might as well be assigned an inventory number.
